Hamilton West-Ancaster-Dundas Member of Parliament John-Paul Danko recently made a special visit to the Dundas Modular Railway Club at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 36 in Dundas. The visit gave the MP an up-close look at the club’s intricate model railroad layouts and an opportunity to meet with hobbyists who bring miniature railroading to life.

In a stark address to the World Economic Forum on Tuesday, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney argued that the international system is “in the midst of a rupture, not a transition,” warning that the multilateral institutions relied upon by Canada and other middle powers are under serious threat. Carney said the question is no longer whether countries like Canada must adapt, but how: “We can build higher walls, or we can do something more ambitious.”

Hamilton – On January 20, federal funding of $950,000 was announced to support the Art Gallery of Hamilton’s (AGH) major expansion project, a boost welcomed by local leaders including Hamilton West-Ancaster-Dundas MP John-Paul Danko. The funds, provided through the Canada Cultural Spaces Fund, were revealed by Hamilton Mountain MP Lisa Hepfner on behalf of the Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture.
