Each year, the City of Hamilton proudly recognizes residents who elevate our community through service, compassion, and leadership. The Order of Hamilton is the City’s highest honour for voluntary civic contribution, celebrating individuals whose efforts strengthen neighbourhoods, support residents, and enrich Hamilton’s cultural and civic life. It was an honour for MP John-Paul Danko to attend the 2025 award ceremony in Ancaster on Friday, January 16th to celebrate this year’s outstanding recipients.
“The Order of Hamilton is a profound honour that reflects the spirit of service, dedication, and leadership that defines our great city. It is important that we recognize and celebrate Hamiltonians who contribute so meaningfully to building community and improving the lives of our residents, which is precisely what the Order of Hamilton sets out to do.” Mayor Andrea Horwath
