Today, on the National Day of Remembrance of the Quebec City Mosque Attack and Action Against Islamophobia, we honour the six Muslim Canadians who were killed, and stand with their families and loved ones.
All Canadians should be able to live and worship freely, without fear of hatred, discrimination, or violence, and with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Our government stands in solidarity with Muslim communities and continues to take action against Islamophobia in all its forms.
